This Continuing Education Course provides a refresher on agency relationships and disclosure obligations, as well as fair housing and discrimination. This Course satisfies mandatory CE electives. Three hours fair housing and one hour of agency.

  • Understand the basic duties that any agent owes his or her clients.
  • Understand your duties and responsibilities clients and customers fairly and equally under the law.
  • Describe how an agency relationship is formed.
  • Explain the levels of authority an agent may have.
  • Discuss how fair housing laws have evolved.
  • Recall to federal and state laws addressing fair housing and anti-discrimination.
  • Recognize how to identify examples of discrimination.
  • Identify the implications of violating fair housing mandates.
  • Understand your duties and responsibilities clients and customers fairly and equally under the law.
  • Describe the impact of HUD’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing regulation.
