New York Real Estate Broker Pre-Licensing Starts: December 7 delivers 45 hours of real estate broker prelicensing education required before you may apply for a New York State real estate broker or associate broker license. The course is presented in two formats: in-person classroom (Syracuse) or you may experience the benefits of a classroom setting in an easy-to-access live web format (Zoom). The course modules conform to the curriculum mandated by the state to prepare you for the broker licensing exam and for success as you progress to the next phase of your career. Topics include agency law, license law, operating a real estate office, real estate finance, real property investment, general business law, construction and development, conveyance of real property, real property management, taxes and assessments, advanced fair housing and fair lending, achieving transactional agreements through transaction analysis, and local environmental issues and concerns. Course Sessions are held Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM for two weeks. Required course exam will be administered on the last day.
